No. No way does Edmonton offer Broberg in this deal. I'm not even sure they offer Puli unless it's to clear cap space. The 2nd and Puli would be a great return for McCabe

I think McCabe is massively underrated and Pulju doesn't have much value right now, if any, outside of clearing cap for EDM. This might still be an overpay but not by much.

He's playing well right now. I wasn't so impressed with him last year. Not that I think +/- is a good stat at all, but sometimes it can give a clue into what's going on. Last year he was a -27 for the season. OOOF! He got lost a bunch in his own zone. Maybe learning a new system? Maybe He just wasn't good at Colliton's schemes? Who knows. This year he's literally the ONLY Hawk in the positive category with a +1 on a team with 8 total wins. He's been good defensively this year.

I agree. McCabe has been very solid all year. He's a legit top #4 on a playoff team. I think this original offer was too much only because of Broberg, I don't have the value on PJ as it seems others do. He WAS the #4 pick but has not really been that difference maker.
