Dickinson actually subtracts value for the Jackets because he is Yet Another Forward With Term. We don't need those guys. Murphy is interesting, but there is no chance in hell we give him up for a top-5 pick in this draft. Top-2 only protection is not something we risk for anything Chicago has.

Doesn’t matter if it’s Domi or AA, but that is a little steep of a price. 3rd and a B/C prospect should get the retention just fine. If Kase has to go for cap purposes he has a little value or is just net neutral if he goes back on LTIR.

Did I miss something here? When did AA become this hot trade commodity? I'm being completely serious. Just because his contract is expiring doesn't make him any more valuable. Not sure where this hype is coming from, but I haven't watched anything more than his stats lately, so if someone has a solid answer I'd be curious to know what's driving this.
