Bert resigned 5x6 forgot to add that. Not really 2 firsts , xb is underperforming his draft slot. You also get toumisto and zadina. Bert is a playoff stud and gives you the grit/skill/work ethic combo Edmonton needs.

That's complete BS. He's the #1 forward on his team for goals despite being rookie pro (just d+2, most guys don't go to AHL until d+3) and not getting 1PP and top linemates. He's not underperforming at all. Compare him with Mavrik Bourque, who was drafted a year previous.

Sign-and-trade are basically non-existent in the NHL today. And acquiring his signing rights is worth like a 5th.

Oh, giving the old classic phrases without any facts behind them. Fact Bertuzzi has never played one NHL playoff game. And you're calling him a playoff stud.tears of joy

You do have a point 1/2 point/game is not bad for a d+2 player in the ahl. I did underestimate him a bit, my bad.

Not really man, at every level he has overachieved in the post season. There is nothing to suggest that won't be the case in the NHL.

The NJD trade is beyond a pipedream. Fabbri at this point has negative value. The trade has a negative chance of happening.

Larkin extension seems reasonable.

Horvat’s is a little light, he’ll get around what Larkin will get.

I like the Maatta extension although, he’s played himself into a much richer AAV & term than that. More likely to get a 4 year deal at around $4m-$4.5m.

Could really go without re-signing Suter & Erne. We have kids that can take those spots and save $4m. Those could conceivably be Kasper & Mazur’s spots.

I don’t see anybody giving up multiple picks for Ned at this point, even though this team looks completely different when he’s playing compared to Husso. I don’t think he is fully to blame for his success or lack thereof so far this season.

Truthfully I’m not super familiar with Bourgault but, on the surface that trade looks OK if it was just Bertuzzi. I don’t see a need to include Zadina(not that I would care if he’s thrown in there), or Tuomisto.

Probably a bit much for Bertuzzi right now with how this season is going.
Ned also probably a bit much considering his season.
Hagg is fine.
Erne doesn't get that, he's overpaid a bit in my opinion.
Might be a bit rich from Colorado as well and half of Suter's salary is 1.625M.
What the eff is that Jersey trade?

That's why I listed this is if Bert and fabs come back from surgery and they tear it up. Bert signs an extension. These are also trade deadline deals from the 23 tdl.

So this acgm is next year but as I listed the trades happened at this year's deadline. I also noted that bert an fabs come back from surgery and tear it up and zadina is improving, which is why the trades are the way they are. It's all best case scenario stuff , which is why its called a " dream". So erne, suter, hagg and ned are playing well and traded at this year's deadline for a premium. They are not resigned. New Jersey is also a little down on holtz because of his lack of speed with the pace of the NHL game.

There you go again just making up stuff up to support your silly point. Your quote "at EVERY level he has overachieved in the post season.." Since he has never been in the NHL, how can honestly say "at EVERY level.... etc.,

I'm not saying it is a bad trade (that's subjective for everyone), but your salesmanship reeks of a used car salesman in a plaid blazer.

Dude, what's your problem. Get over yourself. At every level bertuzzi has played at he has excelled in the postseason. There is no reason to think that won't be the case when he ends up playing in the NHL postseason as well. What's your issue.

You make it sound like my it's my fault because you put a false narrative in your premise. That's on you. As I said, it may be fair trade, and obviously a team that trades for a UFA expects good performance from a new player they obtain.

It's my acgm and I set the conditions in which it happens. Its not real life, it's fantasy hockey. Can you understand that. Go smoke a joint and chill out.

I mean Pysyk doesn’t really have any value until he is at least playing again and Suter while not bad isn’t really what COL looks for in a bottom 6 guy. Probably decline.

This is at the 23 tdl. He will be healthy and playing before then presumably.
