Literally anything is better than another busted goalie and a bust like Zadina. WIth his production and cheap cap hit, he could potentially fetch a first round pick in value

Vancouver says no quite easily. Neither Ned or Zadina has done anything to give themselves much trade value and Kuzmenko is hot and just about everyone is interested in him.

Detroit passes really no interest Edmundson. Chiarot is more than enough in terms of ex-Habs defensemen, especially after re-braking Burtuzzi hand.

Detroit passes Bertuzzi > Kakko not sure why Detroit is giving up the better pick?

I have no idea how the Kings value Lizotte but I do think Suter with 50% retained will easily get a 3rd at the TDL. So there is no reason for Detroit to give up when they can get one instead.

Hamonic and Hagg are UFAs and I don't think either has much left so maybe a 1 for 1. But honestly they are probably better off staying where they are.

Vancouver passes on trade #1 as does Detroit, The only one on Vancouver Detroit has interest in is Bo Horvat.

Detroit passes on the Montreal trade, No use for Joel Edmundson.

Detroit passes on the Ranger trade, No way does Kakko and a 3rd get Bertuzzi Bertuzz > Kakko 3rd doesn't make up the fact that Kakko has nowhere near the value of Bertuzzi.

Detroit passed on both the LA and Ottawa trades as well.

Detroit is not a buyer this year.
