Yes Larkin is a pending UFA but a. If we can afford him how does Rangers afford him? Second, if and if Larkin is traded they will get better than Trouba and that horrible deal.

Yeah but with Seider and the way Hronek has been playing I can't see Detroit giving up much to get him. Neither Hronek or Trouba would be happy in the 3rd pair for long. You'd pretty much have to move Hronek who is currently playing better than Trouba and is about 4yrs younger.
