Retain 1.5mil on the contract and it looks better. But long story short, COL isn’t looking to add another big contract on defense, they’ll have too much cap space tied up between Toews, Makar, Manson, Girard and Byrams pay increase. Can’t afford to add another 6mil on the back end

At 6.5mil, he’s probably valuable to 1/3 of the league with below average D. To the other 2/3 of the league with average or better defence, 6.5mil x 5yr is just too much for Faulk

I’ve watched him for the better part of the past two years cause he was on my fantasy team for one of them. Dude is too busy throwing shoulders to provide any value to his team. He’s a headcase and he’s trash.
