Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

I think I asked this at the beginning of the season, but I put it to you "fellow hockey fan", when do you start taking this team seriously?

If they are playing 0.600 hockey at the 20 game mark, do you A: "sell early to tank!"
B: "ride it out and see where it goes?"
C: "acquire players as long as they aren't rentals"
D: "acquire rentals"

No one expected us to to be this deep at LHD this quickly, but Guhle/Harris/Xhekaj are a wonderful surprise.

Monahan is a 2nd line Center on any team in the league, not just a bad one.

Gallagher/Anderson/Dvorak are finally healthy and in the right chairs. Playing as a shutdown/energy line they look really good.

Cole-freaking Caufield is gonna score 40 and Suzuki is gonna be a PPG player.

Matheson & Edmundson A.K.A their best Power Play QB and Penalty Kill QB have not even put in an appearance yet and somehow this team is still winning some games by excellent 5-on-5 play.

What to do? I personally hate 'B' & 'D'

Would the fans accept selling Savard, Monahan, Dvorak, Monty if the team is in a playoff position?

No Monihan isn't a 2nd line center on quite a few teams TB is first in mind for me . Point Stamkos Cirelli Paul all rate ahead of him.
He definitely slots in behind Barkov and Bennett in Florida.

TBL is special. What a great team you guys have!

I doubt you have seen him play this year with this response though. He's playing incredible hockey, with pretty poor line mates and still putting up good ppg. He has more points than Paul for example and ating on a weaker team and a weaker line.

Keep an eye on him when my Habs play your Bolts. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I said before the year started that we were going to compete with Ottawa and Florida for 3rd in the division (albeit I thought Toronto and Tampa were top 2 and Boston wouldn't be strong with their injuries, but I still am sticking with fighting for 3rd)

It's amazing to see what 3 seasons of good drafting can do.

Caufield & Guhle are 2 of the 3 best players on this team.

Mesar, Beck, Hutson, Roy all seem like top prospects. It's fun to watch the depth accrue and it's true that you DON'T need to draft top 10 to pickup top NHL talent.

I think they will get better when Math & Eddy come back. I think more fans jump on the bandwagon around game 20. If they are in 3rd at game 40, would you try and go out and acquire a player in a hockey trade. One of our young LHD for one of LA's young RHD?

The Most I see Monahan getting is a 2nd and 3rd Round Pick. First can be better used for many teams. 2 seconds is just a bit too steep. I'd Consider him a really Good 3C on most Playoff teams.

I think by the end of November the picture will be a lot clearer. If you look at the standings Boston has 16 points the most in the conference and Columbus has 6 points the least in the conference. The rest of the conference has between 11 and 8 points. Montreal and 7 other teams are tied for 5th in the conference with 10 points. There is really nothing to get too excited or too depressed about so far this season. The separation will come when the teams play more divisional games.
