Don't know why folks have this fascination about trading Simmons, he doesn't affect the cap at all.
But to expect Murray and Muzzin to be on season ending LTIR this year (and next)....fantasy.

He had off season wrist and ankle surgeries. Doubt any team trades for him at the moment. So no it wouldn’t be done by now.

No.... If that's the offer then Arizona won't move him. They've made it clear that they want a top prospect along with 2 first rounders. Maybe that price comes down a bit, but there are still lots of teams that would easily offer more than this

If you think that Knies "is more than enough to acquire Chychrun," you're sadly mistaken. The only unsigned selection from the 2021 draft who has that value is Luke Hughes. And as @mk458 says, the widely reported ask for Chychrun is a top prospect PLUS two first-round picks.

Just a reminder: you can't trade your own 2023 third -- Arizona has first dibs on it.

So, trade for a d-man that can't stay healthy for a full season. Leafs have an issue with that now.
