I like the target and I don't quibble with the price exactly, but I do question sending three defensemen in the deal.

It's certainly uncommon to do so, but the CBJ would have quite a formidable current lineup, with Jiricek, Mateychuk and other promising defensive prospects still in the pipeline (Svozil, Knazko, Richard, Christiansen).

Sillinger is a no, Marchenko is a no but not quite as sternly, and I view Chinakov and Cuelemans as nearly interchangable, so I think I would probably do that. Maybe swapping Bean for Bemstrom if they want a forward and like the player?

If Chinakhov/Sillinger are being discussed to replace a d-man, the Jackets would need to keep Boqvist. Either of them value wise would be head and shoulders above Bean. Chinakhov looks poised for a break out year and Sillinger has the potential to be a good first/second line center already playing second line time at 19 years old.

What do you mean? What is he lacking in your mind? He is a big guy and has a great all-around game so I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't be after that skillset.

I guess I don't really think of him as a "shut down the opposition" type. That and being LH instead of RH continues to make me flinch.

The biggest issue with your offer is Vegas has a lot of good defense and defensive prospects. They need young forwards and you aren't getting Theodore unless you give up someone with top 6 potential.
