Mysak is a decent prospect, but the RD depth is depleted.

You would be surprised some people want NYR to add a pick... To me this is more lopsided towards MTL (I used to add conditions on the pick to make it a 3rd if Lundkvist played over 50-60 NHL games this season), but I don't want to be spammed by 100 comments of drop the conditions.

I think I might prefer Dellandrea since he is NHL ready. That is why a 1-1 trade is realistic and, in the Mysak case, is not. Mailloux is a wasted pick. I doubt he will see a day of NHL action in his life and if he touches the ice he will have a target the size of Quebec on his back. Barron is a good prospect but Lundkvist is ready for top 4 action and is an incredible defenseman so your loss I guess.

I agree! What he did has no justification or the "he was young and made a dumb mistake" excuse is BS, there are some mistakes you just cannot do and this is one of them.

You don't know who Mysak is do you?! you keep saying he had one great tournament but he has been at almost a ppg in every league he has ever played in, even when he was playing above his age groups and is a PPG player in each of his first two years in the OHL.

I mean, I agree completely, but if you start launching investigations I imagine this has happened in every NHL locker room since social media came to be. It isn't a rarity, just rare for someone to get caught. Not defending the player at all, but this I imagine is unfortunately more common than we realize.

Lundqvist couldn't keep a roster spot in NY so he is most certainly not a four 4 defenceman. Mailloux will play, no doubt.

HC Litinov in 2019-20 he had 26 Games with 9 points (5G 4A)

He has been a PPG in the OHL and only the OHL which is great, but many players have achieved that (Brett Howden achieved better numbers then that in junior and is a career 4th liner)

But he was the one that got caught... You get caught basically the opposite of "No face no case" you suffer the consequences. He cannot play a day in the NHL and if he does I hope someone like Wilson runs him to kingdom come

I mean Patrick Kane still plays and so do the unnamed 8 players on the 2018 team Canada roster. The only difference between them and Mailloux is the fact that Mailloux is not a superstar like Kane and his name was released to the press unlike the team Canada players. Mailloux likely will play, just as others before him have made their way onto other NHL rosters.

Lundkvist was playing bottom pair mins with Nemeth... He was the QB of the 2PP and performed extremely well his "demotion" was less to do with him and more to do with Schneider showing he is the "real deal"... Lundkvist is ready for top 4 mins, and you know it you are just trying to deflate his stock so that MTL can get a steal and get some kind of payback for the McDonagh steal...

HC Litvinov is a Czech pro league and you expected a 17 year old to be a ppg player against men?!
