Not weird at all, they provide very different things. If you want a physical stay at home defensive Dman...it's Murphy all the way. If you're looking for some offensive upside, but not quite as good defensively...it's church all the way. Murphy isn't scoring 40 points a season. That's just not who he is.

Chicago passes. Add the 2023 2nd or make it just the 2024 1st. You can keep the players in the trade unless you need to move them for cap relief

Murphy is better then Chychrun defensively and that’s what we need. Idk why everyone is so fascinated with Chychrun, he was pretty bad last season.

Nyquist needs to be moved to fit Laine. Bean is squeezed out due to Murphy, but he’s young, cheap, and controllable, so figure he’s got some value. Svozil is a promising D prospect, and Bems is, I believe, a M6 winger with some offensive touch who had his development stunted by Torts.
