That's a decent looking team if the goaltending holds up.

Arizona getting hosed here, Bean is a dud and they likely miss out on the crème of the crop at the top of the draft.

I don't think Bean is that much of a dud. He showed promise last year on a meh CBJ team. Can always add another piece/prospect like foudy or a 2nd next year?

Yeah Bean showed promise with the Canes too. For someone who’s strength was supposed to be offense and skating - he sure ended up on his behind a lot. I think we know what Bean is at this point.

Jarmo talked to the media today at 10, but I haven't watched the interview yet but it's being reported they are probably moving one of the picks for a "good young player" with term remaining. I believe Brian Hedger and Darren Dreger have been tweeting that the trade talks between the two teams is heating up.

Idk...I have mixed feelings on Chych, personally. Assuming his breakout two years ago was legit, and this past year was just an outlier, I'd be down.



I wouldn't give either one more than $900k. Bems may be the product of roster crunch, but neither has proven to be more than depth guys. Frankly, I think it's more likely they are out of the NHL than they are to get these kinds of contracts. Throw them in as add-ons in trades. Hell, throw in both to AZ for Chych.

I like the player, I don't know if I like the fit with him pairing with Werenski. Two lefty's on the top pairing :/

If Bemstrom wants that much he is probably gone, he hasn’t shown anything to get that much, same with Carlsson. Personally I’d let both players go or move them for picks.

Also looking more into Carlsson, he wasn’t good, but he want bad either, he just didn’t do anything to impact the play of the game.

I'd absolutely hate to lose Tex but this would cushion the blow a tad.
