The Yotes are giving Murray a chance to be a starter again here. If he performs, it’s more than likely he’s shipped off at the deadline for some assets. If it doesn’t turn out, they likely didn’t lose much in the late round picks. Ottawa just needs his contract off the books. Gustavsson is ready to move into that starting/tandem goaltender role alongside Forsberg, whom had a career year last season.

I think we are overreacting over the last year's pick, especially since it is rumored that it was Mcguire who basically made the pick for that one, and since he isn't there anymore, I would trust him this draft. COuld he go off the board, maybe, but not ALOT, like he could go and pick Kasper, which is kinda early for him but still a top 15 worthy player
