Everyone is roasting you for these but here's the reasons why:

-Mrazek will cost at least a 3rd round pick to dump his contract - he's got 2x$3.8M left and came off a season where he got injured again and put up an .888 SV% when he wasn't. Puljujarvi is a former #4OA pick who, at the very least, has settled into a 40-45 point pace the last 2 seasons and still has RFA term left. We can debate what his actual cost in a trade would be, but the fact is that Toronto needs to significantly add to this trade to get this return.

-The Rangers should be looking at this season as their window opening early - they're a younger team that overachieved. They shouldn't be moving a recent #2OA pick, no matter what his production looked like, for a pending UFA who has one single 50 point season in his career to this point. Kerfoot will cost more and has less value to the Rangers than he would most other teams, even with adding in Abruzzese and a pick.

-This one is just brutal for Anaheim. Right off the bat, you ask them to retain $1.6M for the next *five* years - that alone should be worth the 1st & Abramov - it's just a huge ask of a team that deserves a big reward. That leaves the rest of the value as Justin Holl & a 4th for Gibson - Justin Holl is generally regarded as having the same value as a 3rd/4th rounder, so you're asking Anaheim to basically give up Gibson for a 3rd & a 4th. Would *you* make that deal if another team offered it to you?

When was the last time a team retained $1.6M for 5 seasons? You've got to account for that value *before* you get to actually paying for the player. You wanna trade a 1st, a prospect, and a roster player for Gibson fully retained? I think it's possible depending on the quality of the players. But you've got to make a significant add to that package to get Anaheim to retain that much.
