Your loss. Pinto is a stud

5x5 for Brown is steep.
Your team is likely still over the cap not sure if it goes up for the 23-24 season.
Brown at 5 per 5 is a bit steep, I realize that is probably what it would take to keep him thou.
Norris and Stuztle contracts would be ideal, I doubt both those get done at those numbers but here is hoping.
IF by the 23-24 season one of JDB or Thompson are not playing 2nd pairing then that would be a huge miss on the development coaches and a huge loss. But Miller would be a good stop gap.
NY matches that offer sheet in two seconds and says thank you for making our life easy.
I am on the fence with the Debrinkcat trade, I Don't think moving Pinto is a great idea, yes we have Stuzle and Norris at Center, but he could have some great value as a 3C and would be able to move up the lineup if needed. He hasn't grown his Faceoff numbers but if they get anywhere near the level he was doing in college that alone will make him so valuable as a PK asset.
Same with Formenton, the speed and PK asset a huge value with the cap hit he is going to come in at. Again another guy that has shown that if needed he can move up the lineup and play the top 6 minutes.
I am really hoping that this year we get a good number of games with a 3rd line of Formenton - Pinto - Joseph, the speed and lineup matches they would draw would make them a lethal secondary scoring threat. Not to mention any combo of those players or throw brown in is also top 10 PK unit in the league.
If you can do Branstromm, 7th OA, a 2nd, and Grieg or JDB I would be more inclined to make that trade. Then slide brown with Debrinkcat and Stuztle, mentioned third line above, then you have an every better line up.
