Exactly. Montreal should take just about anything for him. Get him off the books. It was a bad contract at the start and hasn’t looked any better

I don’t mind the contract. 20 goal power forward with speed and only 28 years old. Sometimes a player is worth more to a team than what they could get for him.

LOL, you realize that Anderson has only hit 20 goals ONCE in his career, right? That's not worth $5.5M, and it's only going to get worse as he ages. He's a cap dump.

It would have to be real significant. Habs turned down some serious offers for Anderson before the March 21 trade deadline. My sense is K. Hughes never mentions his name to his GM counterparts but they keep asking about him. Habs aren't planning on moving him, but never say never

There's a reason the Habs are the worst team in the league. The best way to tank is to hold on to the players who got you to the bottom in the first place.
