I'd maybe consider a 1-for-1 swap of Vilardi for Sanheim, but there's no way LA is throwing in a 1st round pick on top of that.

If I'm Ottawa I'm keeping the 39th overall pick all day. Moving up two spots isn't that big for me.

Don't see why the Kings would consider giving up more for a rental.

Sanheim is a rental, so I don't think he's on the Kings' horizon, and certainly not at that price.

A rental? He’s a great young D man with top pair potential and unlikely to get much of a raise. This deal, even with the first, isn’t getting Sanheim out of Philly. Vilardi? No thanks.

Flyers are not getting a first for Laughton, maybe a third at best.

All I can say is that there would be plenty of better offers than this… there’s a reason he somehow was plus 9 on this joke of a team, kid is a smart player and blooming into one of the better 2-way D in this league. At this age and his expected cap hit, kid is going to be worth a lot more

Depends on who's available. If we can get Jiricek there, I do this all day. But he's probably the only one I do it for, the rest of the players that might be available at 5 just don't fit the need enough to trade up for.
