Sabres won't be doing much save for a goalie and maybe a d-man. UFA's much more likely than trades although I wouldn't count a trade out.

Once again this is the first team I made but I could rationalize it for the ducks solely because of how deep there prospect pool is losing terry and adding nylander could be a win for the foreseeable future. Adding Stolartz and the second was just wishful thinking ngl

So can I ask you to actually explain why you think that Ottawa trade would work in any way? Anton Forsberg was a legit starter and they just extended him to a very fair contract, so why would they move him for... whatever Mrazek was last season? Kyle Dubas calls PD up and says "hey do you guys wanna massively downgrade at goalie and also take on a worse contract? If you throw in one of the fastest skaters in the entire league and middle 6 player and also one of your only 2 NHL left wingers, we'll give you our bad defenceman that we want to get rid of! A 4th rounder as a sweetener will get that done for sure, eh?"
