If Barron is going they won't give their next best RHD prospect but Berhens who is better and LHD maybe an option or fwd prospect at that level. Newhook and Byram are off the table. If JT was signed for 4 years + then ya but he's not so they won't give up their cost controlled future 2C when entire 2nd line UFAs and MacKinnon deal coming up. So switch that with Jost and that's about the return if a deal was made. 1st, Barron, Berhens and Jost(23yrs old RFA at end of deal)

Miller is playing at an elite level though Just a fact. The only way Miller gets traded at this TDL is for a blue chip prospect. A trade like this will hurt both organizations as the Canucks loose by far their best player and the Avs lose youth they would rather not part with. It probably doesn't happen, but if it does you are looking at Newhook, Baron plus (picks maybe). Miller works very well as an add for the Avs, but they may not want to pay the price. Previous play off losses and the dynamics of a changing roster may push them to do it. who knows. As for Eichel, his massive cap hit, spinal fusion surgery and trade demand seriously impacted his return. Apples and potatoes my friend.
