Bourgault is worth more than Lehkonen, Allen is a career backup having a pretty meh season. You aren't getting anything close to a 1st for him, that's just delusional.

I don't think the AZ deal is that bad maybe a 1st and a 2nd. But the MTL trade is horrendous.

Lehk is a non tender candidate, and Allen has been below league average in 4/5 years. It’s great to set your sights high, but yikes.

Allen is better than you give him credit for. 2nd and a meh prospect is okay. Lehkonen is easily worth a 2nd but zero reason to move him for that.

Yes. Lehkonen is amazing. Which is why I don't move him unless we are getting a good prospect in return.
He's also a bottom 6 player. You have to be realistic with expectations.

Buffalo accepts. It's essentially a 2nd and a 4th for a 7th, since Turris & Koskinen have their deals up at the end of the year. I know it was for anyone, but Buffalo still accepts.

I will dispute that. Lehkonen may be worth a 2nd, but I doubt it. Allen for sure isn't worth more than a 4th, probably not even that for Edmonton who has 2 better goalie under contract for next year already.

But even if you CAN get 2x 2nds for those two, that still doesn't equal Bourgault's value, let alone adding a prospect & mid round pick.
