If you'd have offered that before free agency last summer, you'd have Tarasenko. Now, as nice as that package is, you've not done much to help the Blues now, and they are also trying to contend now. And let's be clear, Tarasenko's value is not dropping, it has only risen sharply since the season started. So the value of the package is good, but I don;t think you have the right pieces there.

Tarasenko is 30 and Klingberg is 29 and you are trading Detroit's top 3 picks in the next 3 drafts plus Veleno for them. Rasmussen is becoming a good shutdown center so for now he is worth more than his trade value.

Lindstrom is a defensive defenseman but he has more points than the winger you are trading him for. Senyshyn is an AHL player and probably worth that 5th rd pick.
