Well they had to "overpay" given the position they were in. Though I did propose that exact trade earlier (except I had zona taking on Johnson's contract so I think it was fair value for both sides.

I agree they should have kept Saad. There is a hole in the top 9 that makes me nervous. Grubauer, maybe. I don't love his contract, but I also don't love the price they paid for Kuemper.

The rest I could do without. Just move Compher for cap purposes and it's done. No need to get fancy.

I wanted to start as if it was the beginning of free agency so I put those players in LTIR to unsign them since their cap hit doesn’t count and there is no actual way to unsign them.
