Not only did they resign they protected Lindstrom as well. Why would they give him up for a bunch of pieces they don't need or want?

Why not bring up Liljegren?

You would think Seattle would have selected Kerfoot if they had really wanted him. The Leafs need Kerfoot at centre since they have little NHL depth instead of another winger.
Having Galychuck at centre should not be an option.
Why do you think Tanev is a better playoff performer than Kerfoot? Gee, Kerfoot has better stats, and you can certainly argue that Kerfoot was the in the top two Leafs forwards last spring.
The trade value is fair but really probably not a fit for both teams.
