    I doubt the Canucks will give up both Hoglander and their 1st round pick for Riley. They might give up one of those things but I doubt both

    This isn't NHL21


    I mean, if you want to keep him that's great, and I have no horse in the race here...but if you're looking at the actual value going back, this is a bigger haul than the JT Miller trade, who had pretty much identical numbers as Konecny did when he was moved. Calling it a bunch of crap (9OA, good D prospect, serviceable NHL dman, prospect with question marks) is a pretty homer take.

    Imagine still thinking Liljegren is a good D prospect. Dermott is a 3rd pairing D man, not valuable at all! The only thing of value is the 1st in a questionable draft. Hard pass.

    Agree. Reilly to Vancouver makes no sense for the Canucks. They have no cap room and have two guys on their left side that do what he does already. Nonsensical.

    I steady 3rd pair Dman like Dermott has value (provided he doesn't ask to get paid in the $2M range, 900K to about 1.3M I think is ok). Liljegren is going to be an NHL Dman, likely 2nd pairing quality but at worst a 5/6.

    Imagine writing off a prospect who just turned 22 and has been fine in the AHL. And I get it if you don't want to move him, I absolutely do, and again, I'm the Swiss here...no horse in the race...but why not try a different approach, like "That's not a good offer for Konecny-We'd want (Insert package here) if we moved him" instead of the consistent non-constructive comments?

    Hasn't shown that yet by any means and is already 22. Can't even crack the lineup or get a call up.

    Because no matter how many times we say what is needed for TK, these Leafs fans throw us this garbage. They don't understand what quality means.

    Yoikes! Nils Hoglander? Woah the 9th? Woah both in the same trade for a guy who is UFA in 12 months?? I've seen some overvaluations of Rielly but this the most aggressive haha
