As I recall, VGK management creatively included an agreement in each trade they were part of in 2017 that prevented clubs involved from doing additional trades prior to the expansion draft. Shrewd, because it paralyzed the market. Observation based on the number of deals today.

Well they certainly can’t take all of them, because that’s $24.5 million for 3 players. And of those players, 1 is good but has injury problems, 1 is ok, and 1 is bad.

Even ignoring the possibility of Price getting selected, that would be extremely stupid, because I’d much rather Allen get selected over one of Anderson, Kotkaniemi, Toffoli, Lehkonen, Drouin, or Evans.

Right. And the only way these guys can go is up. IMO it would be smart to bet on one of them bouncing back (I'm not saying becoming 80+pts players but I mean just a 20-25G and 50-60pts guys)

I think both sides would decline, Horvat is the Nucks captain and an integral part of their team while Buch is probably better than Horvat, also Buch may want a huge payday
