If Price gets picked, I'm happy. We get 10.5 Million more to play with in FA (a 1A goalie + Danault replacement + more). If he's not picked, we lose a depth player and we still have Price + Allen

So I think we can all agree leafs are now going 7-3-1 with the McCann trade

Kerfoot, Holl, Simmonds, Spezza, Dermott, Hutchinson and a bunch of other guys (Malgin, Petan, etc.). Now Kerfoot may very well be protected over Brooks we shall need to wait and see. Spezza wont be taken as he flexed the retirement card and it would be a waste and every gm would hate the kraken if they forced a guy to retire.

Yeah Buch wont be cheap for any team to trade for but trading a top center on a good contract in Horvat for him would be dumb on Vancouver's end. Buch probs could be got for what Kapenan went for by any gm interested. Maybe a bit more.
