Huge props to Marc Bergevin. He went all in on this team. Never was afraid to take risks but this year he spent tons of money and needed the 2020-21 Montreal Canadiens to work and when they didn’t, he made what may be his biggest gamble ever and fired one of the NHLs best coaches to officially commit to this year and it paid off

Yeah he's disappointed, being mad does nothing now the season is over and I imagine the team will look a lot different next year. I've been apart of a lot of teams from Atom up until junior and I have never once had a coach come in ripping and roaring pissed off after the season is over. It's just disappointment, they know they needed to be better they are all just dejected reflecting on what could've been.

Now that we know all the 2nd round matchups, the semifinals matchups (even including home ice) are already independent of each other. It will be:

#1 (COL/VGK) vs. #4 (WPG/MTL)
#2 (CAR/TBL) vs. #3 (BOS/NYI)

It’s also crazy that the lower seeds won every series in two divisions, and the inverse happened in the other 2 divisions. Although it does make sense, since everyone agreed that the Central & West were the most top-heavy divisions.
