I thought the same about Rask and I do agree about Quick, but he could have a better case than Rask? I’d have to look at the stats and achievements of both to get my own opinion but off the top of my head I’m about the same

In career save percentage Rask is 3rd all-time (60+ games), behind only Hasek and Dryden.

In the playoffs he’s 2nd in save percentage (60+ games), behind only Braden Holtby.

So with a Vezina trophy and the best numbers out of any active goalie, Rask is absolutely a Hall of Famer.

Gotta think to trade Fleury - solely because Lehner is younger and a good goalie. Fleury is getting near retirement age - he could realistically fall off a cliff at any moment and not be able to keep up these performances. Committed to lehner with term; gotta stick with your guns. Factor in; someone could actually pay a hefty fee if theyre desperate for a good goalie and give you some good assets to take on (probably nothing ridiculous due to his cap but still).

If Dallas is out of playoff contention next year I can see us trading Pavs 50% retained to them for Brisson and Cormier. Pavs is an excellent leader and one of the best playoff performers in the league, he could help them at centre and in the playoffs. I would see his value as a 1st (Brisson), and a 3rd (Cormier).
