For philly the best trade would be the one with Frost because we have so many center prospects so it wouldn't hurt to lose one.

The question is more fit than value. We have defense, if we are gonna spend assets, we need forwards.

I would like to keep Zacha. He's having a great year and is finally figuring it out. Im not sure if giving up 2023 is the best because im not sure the Devils would be good by then

Personally, I would not want to give up a first rounder for Dumba. Hasn’t been all that great since his pectoral injury nearly 3 years ago now and the combination of his regression in play and his fairly expensive contract make him a guy I honestly have little interest in.

Now, he is a physical, offensive minded defenseman who has shown the ability to play at least average defense as well, so I wouldn’t doubt that a number of actual teams would be interested, but I think Minnesota would have to A. Take money back and B. Probably accept a lower return, especially if they’re trading him prior to the expansion draft and are set on trying to protect other players

I like either of the Philly trades, wouldn't be surprised to see Chuck come calling for his old draft pick. Flyers players are aware changes are coming in the off-season and my understanding is the defense really let them down this year.

For Chicago, it’s absolutely reasonable to want to keep your 1st. That’s just where you are as a team. But Dumba is worth a 1st plus and that’s the hard part. Finding a team that needs a top 4 RHD and is willing to part with the assists needed, that’s why the move hasn’t happened.

I know it’s a long shot but OTT is a wild card IMO. Expansion and cap is no issue and they need somebody to play next to a Chabot until the kids are ready. They also have a massive stable of picks/prospects to deal with.

But you should also look at WPG. They NEED a top 4 D. A 1st and Samberg is appealing to me, maybe another small piece. If we could weasel out Heinola, all the better. If you do post it, WPG fans get incensed you would ask a 1st for a top 4 D man.
