I’ve heard a lot of scouts have soured on him.

He's fallen quite a bit to the point he may be one of those names that falls out of the first round entirely. Similar to Veleno or even Kaliyev: scouts see that one thing wrong with him that just rubs them the wrong way, and he falls.

People have him out of the first in some mock drafts.

He dropped to 20th on McKenzie’s rankings, some scouts see him as a 3C and some have a second round grade or worse.

Any reason they see him as a 3C and why his stock is falling?
Size issue? Skating? Hockey IQ? Attitude/work ethic?

I’ve only seen him limited times but production wise he hasn’t really displayed what we’ve expected from him. I’m not saying Raty is Lundell as stylistically they’re not close but Lundell had 28 points in 44 games while Raty has 6 points in 35 games. I’ve seen some reports question his hockey IQ and he has great skating & shot but the shift by shift videos I’ve seen he isn’t getting into high danger areas to really utilize them and his defensive game can use some work. I’m not sure the exact reason why, could be coaching? Maybe a prior injury? I’m not sure, as getting good streams of Finnish games are difficult for me. It doesn’t help he was left of the WJC this year too.

Thanks for the info...I'm sure this year's draft is gonna be an adventure the way the pandemic has affected play around the globe, scouting, etc...I bet there will be some misses at the top of the draft and more than usual number of "finds" later in the draft

No problem at all, it’s the reason I come to this site. Yeah, probably a lot like 2017 where the best players won’t be lottery winners. My bet is on Clarke @6th.
