You can't have 3.6 million dollar 3rd line wingers on your team and you need another puck moving LD preferably with team control and on a great contract you know this.

Boston has the run of the free agents you could easily replace him and get a defensemen.

He definitely would not be Bostons 5th LD. Bruins are literally playing with an AHL LD lineup from last year and Caleb Jones was better than all of the in the AHL at least.

Of course they can. And Jones sucks anyway. If they trade Debrusk for a D man it will be an Ekholm/Lindholm tyoe. They have Mac and Grizz that are puck movers. The need is way overblown. They need a RW2 and an LD1 PP QB. Jones is a spare part.

There is nothing wrong with Jones edmonton just doesnt have the patience to play him and they havent had many defense injuries until a game ago.

In what world? Jones has literally been better than all three at every level he has played at but they are all too new to the NHL to evaluate there yet.

The need is puck movers throughout there lineup, one of the bigger problems Boston is currently having is making clean breakouts with any line when their top d pair is not on the ice. Pretty hard for secondary scoring to get going if they can't get out of their own end.

Hardly, he’s put up more points. Does not make him a better player. Boston is tops in Goals allowed per game. Defense is just fine. Is he better skater/puck mover than Lauzon or Urho. Yes. Is he an upper end NHL version of that? No.





Grizz has been out and there is always Achan who is off the good start at Prov and promoted to taxi squad.

Jones is playing 14m a night with 1 point on a bad defensive team. He is not worth Debrusk even if they add a first. Bjork straight up is FMV.

Not everyone, and his trade value drops on a daily basis, in the offseason as a free agent, there will be even less interest.
