Detroit declines. So far Evgeny has played 4 games in the NHL this season and has 4 points so why would they trade him for Welinski and a 4th? Welinski is an RHD and Detroit is all set with RHDs. He is also a UFA at the end of the season so he really has no value from Detroit's point of view.

Larsson is A and Mahura B. My problem is that ducks fans are acting like Mahura has been really good when in fact he’s been poor. I just want to understand this narrative that’s been going on.

I get what you're saying though. I just think larsson has shown what he is, and Mahrua can still improve.

I think Mahura is overrated based on his play so far and Larsson is underrated. Mahura’s upside is greater but the narrative right now that Mahura is great just because they like to give Larsson bad rap doesn’t make sense to me.

Ie people tried to blame Larsson last night for the turnover by Henrique that lead to the first goal. Larsson was open and would have had an easy zone exit but Henrique chipped the puck back into the scrum.

Mahura should play over Hutton tho.
