It takes a better prospect. I would give up hirvonen or niemela. Would also have another pick attached. 1st and a 3rd this year and a 2nd next year that turns into a first for if they make SCF.

He is gonna cost you more than that. He has another year of term and you slashed his salary in half.

You trading a late first, a late 2nd,a mediocre prospect and a fringe nhler for a stud with retention. You're looking at way more and better then this. Preds would hang up on you without even countering Because it's so far off

It'll require Sandin. Forsberg's value exceed that of Nylander's. I don't think you'd be willing to trade Nylander in a trade that doesn't involve one top prospect.

Either Sandin or Robertson is a must add. Otherwise Preds will easily decline.

If Nashville does this they would want the following

Robertson+ Liligren + Kerfoot (money out) + 1st and 2nd.

Robertson would be their future, Liligren replaces Fabbro should he be dealt, and Kerfoot slots in as 3c or wing to replace anyone moved.

I say to balance out the cap and to give Nashville better prospects

Robertson + Liligren + Kerfoot + 2021 1st + 2022 2nd. Nashville may want the 2022 1st as theirs apparently a lot of uncertainty with the 2021 draft.

Not sold on the idea but Foresberg would give Nylander a boost and a top 6 of

Not really. Foresberg is one of the best 2way LW in the NHL. Leafs want to win now and with the addition of him that increases our chances. Liligren and Robertson are borderline NHL ready, and Kerfoot is eating up cap space and really has not looked like a proper 3c,

If Preds retain 50% thats a steal for us especially when u consider he will either be playing with Matthews and Marner or Tavares and Nylander.

We are gonna need guys like liljegren and robertson to play on entry level deals. We can get it done without giving up either of those two, let alone both. We dont even need nashville to retain. we could get a third team too
