Both Smith and Chaisson are pending UFA's. Oilers don't need to pay to dump them, they're much more likely to go out and move a 1st round pick for a goalie than they are to move a prospect like Holloway. They'd decline this.

Also, Georgiev isn't really an upgrade in net. Definitely not worth the price to get him.

he is as been on fire ever since he has come back from the WJC and he is on like a 8 game point streak and has like 23 points in 12 games

Well, he was advertised as a defensive forward expert, which we saw at the WJC with great PKing. But now I believe he's got the pest points per game in college on top of the defensive game. Caulfield is also on fire, but as far as I know, not exactly known as an equally defensive stalwart forward.
