Dude Guerin didn't sign foligno without having a handshake deal Zuccarello or Parise waiving, Seattle has handshake deal with Guerin, or Guerin has clue about who Seattle is taking.

Nothing with the expansion draft is close to being set. It's too far away to consider any type of deal being "done" with SEA right now. An injury, a good/bad year, signing, or trade can change things between now and the end of the season.

True. It was reported though that foligno wasn't signing unless he knew he was being protected or safe, so isn't possible with Guerin having a relationship with Seattle GM , / front office that there's been conversations?

Mostly common sense with Foligno being considered safe. He's really just an expensive bottom-6er (he's me favorite FWD on the team and I'm saying this). In a 7-3 situation MN protects him. In a 8 skater situation Greenway, Soucy, Hartman, Belpedio, Menell, and Strum are all also exposed. If it was me I'd take most of these other guys over Foligno if I was building a team from scratch.
