Imo it’s close but not the correct amount for Dubois. I’m very high on Dubois but I also know he’s NOT worth what some people are demanding and at the same time he’s been lowballed just as much.

I think the ducks are actually a good fit that I didn’t think of. But here’s what I would offer other fans can weigh in @HadesOfSoCal @csick @OldNYIfan @SevenLeg @bhavikp27 @KakkoForMauriceRichardAward (as well as op and Theo)

Perrault or Lundestrom (lunde is worth more so maybe change the pick to like top 15 protected?)

I think that fits both teams. Perrault has more of a chance to be better than what terry already is (I like terry but I think he’ll just be a nice bottom 6 guy [which isn’t bad seeing as guys like Goodrow make huge differences]). If it’s Lundestrom it’s not worth it as much for Anaheim but it makes it much more likely for CBJ to accept. I’m very iffy on offering a first with either prospect but I feel it’s a necessity. Thoughts?

I think Steel wouldn’t be moved, as to why I thought of Lundestrom. Comtois is plausible but other ducks fans know better than myself.

I really like steel so I would be patient with him if I was the ducks although it isn’t unlikely he’s moved if it was Dubois

There’s no way this deal doesn’t get done without one of Steel or Comtois. I’d be asking for Zegras if I was Columbus.

I’d include anyone not named Zegras, Drysdale or Gibson. Obviously prefer to keep Lindholm, Fowler, Rakell, Silfverberg but if they have to be included so be it.

I had Henrique, Steel, Comtois, and a 2021 1st. I think Steel has to be included and Henrique makes sense as a stop gap replacement and another potential top 6 fwd prospect plus a 1st. If I could get away with using Lundestrom or Tracey instead of Comtois I’m for it.

I’d offer both Steel and Comtois if I had too. Prefer to only lose one but PLD and Zegras 1-2 C sets ANA up for quite some time (obviously assuming PLD signs long term).

I'd start by offering Henrique, Steel and our 2021 first (top-5 protected) as I mentioned above. If we were required to add someone, I'd much prefer Lundestrom to Comtois because the latter is expansion-draft exempt.

We might be able to get away with Lundestrom and Groulx or Morand instead of having to lose Steel.

I think it's interesting that most of the commenters here value just about every other prospect over Terry. I picked him because I thought CBJ would prefer NHL players to prospects and Terry is the most capable young NHLer the Ducks currently have in my eyes (not including Zegras, as I think he is already better Than Terry but is untradeable in my eyes). Maybe I'm wrong about what CBJ would want back in a deal but with where their team is right now it seemed like trading for middle six prospects wasn't the best move for them.
