Samorukov is a good prospect for the Oilers. I'm not sure it would get that deal done... he's not a nobody and is a good trade chip for the Oilers. At most I think the Oilers add a 2nd to that deal and I think the value is there. I just don't see why Minnesota would do it. Edmonton would have to overpay. Maybe a 1st included in that deal would do it.

Minnesota wouldn't dream of asking the newly-signed Brodin to waive his NMC. Bill Guerin would never be able to sign any free agent ever again if they did so. And that doesn't even begin to address the fact that Brodin is signed for 7 years and Nurse is signed for only 2, which even a first-round pick doesn't balance.

leon and mcdavid need to center their own lines. Nudge is ok at center but he gets pushed around too much. He is a phenomenal winger though. You have to pick either Hall or nudge you can't afford both, i would rather see a 5 year deal on nudge even if you have to pay him 8 million aav. Jones will not be lost in the expansion unless they trade him, the only defence worth protecting are nurse, jones, bear. Dmitri samorukov will debut before broberg as he will need 21-22 in bakersfield to mature before going to the nhl. Konovalov will not be ready for the nhl yet. They will trade for someone like korpisalo.

Wild definitely don't make that deal. Easily pass.
