I don't think Minnesota needs to trade Dumba. Suter can waive his NMC for the expansion draft because Seattle won't want to touch that contract.

LV would have wanted nothing to do with Phaneuf contract from Ottawa, he didn't waive, and he wasn't playing for his hometown team.

You don't think an expansion franchise would have any interest in a 1D at 7.5M? And his actual cash owed for the final 4 years is 10M total.

He's barely a center. And that's still not saying much because our top center is currently Marcus Johansson.

Yeah I doubt Suter waives. He would never take the risk. Not sure I would if I were him either. Make sure your playing your career out in Minny. That's what I would do.

I think that’s close, I would top 15 protect any 1st at the very least but I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility.

Near the end of the contract it will be a 38-40 year old at 7.5m, yea I don't think Seattle wants that. Is Suter really a #1 D?
