The only one (of the 3 total comments) that mentioned ripping off the other team was regarding the Columbus trade. It's probably reasonable value for Savard, but once again there's absolutely zero reason for Columbus to do it.

It's not reasonable value for Savard though, that's where you're wrong, it's an overpayment for every player across the board

But, what motivation does Columbus have to move Savard?

Chicago declines. We don't want Johnsson, he's a cap dump given Chicago's wing depth. Lillypad would only be a 3rd line prospect to Chicago given Boqvist and Mitchell ahead of him not to mention Regula. Bracco is not interesting in the least bit. You really need to understand the other teams needs instead of just throwing trade ideas out there that benefit the Leafs.

It really is though. People get upset that other teams "ask for too much" on players that those teams really have no reason to trade.

Increased demand on a player=increased return. There's probably 20 teams out there that would like to upgrade their RD, which Savard would do.

Leaf players are by far the most underrated on this site. It's laughable.
The return on Kapanen was great but according to the folks on here he was barely worth a 3rd. 2nd at best. It's a joke. That's the point
