I figured the caps could get a goalie that has experience in case Samsonov falls flat on his face. Blues get a good PK player as their PK was terrible during the playoffs. Caps get some more offensive upside over Hagelin

Just because they have the picks doesn't mean they have to give it up for no reason at all, it's more like panik and a 2nd for someone like erne, you dump your contract for a 2nd and we get compensated for taking his contract. If not it's fine and you can keep his contract
