Nylander may not have had the best showing in the play-in round but he still has more value than this

Sens I think would be interested in AA but I’d rather hold onto the safer choice in Brown. I saw a deal that was like Ottawa trades Dallas’s 2nd for AA, I could see a deal based around that happening at the draft, but yeah Brown had a solid year and AA sucked so there’s not really a reason for Ottawa to do this.

puljujärvi will likely suffer the same fate as jost in colorado. there's likely not any room for him.

I think Nylander was not as disapointing as others. He started the series kind of good and was always thrown around in the lineup. different lines as a winger, then centre, which he did not play in a long time, so chemistry was not that easy.

He is also a guy who should stay, as his contract is actually good.

Why do Oilers fans keep trading Puljujarvi to Colorado? We have zero interest in him.

i doubt EDM wants to trade their 1st. Adam Larsson is one of our most defensive dmen, so i doubt he goes anywhere this offseason.

He played better than all but Tavares, Matthews and Rielly.

Edmonton was 27th in the league at 5v5. The fact you think he's your best defensive defenceman is why this team failed so bad in the play in.

I'm not so sure that Dubas would completely disregard that offer. Toronto needs cap space, and that move clears over $2,000,000, the 14th overall selection is a very nice add as well. Larsson would probably do well on the second pair, as a complimentary shut-down guy, his physicality would certainly build on what Muzzin brings to the table, and Larsson's expiring contract may actually be attractive to Dubas. Still, I think the probability of this deal happening is unrealistically remote. Dubas should get better offers for Nylander, and Holland would struggle to fit the extra extra salary under the cap.

How to be like 80% of Leafs fans:

1. blame Nylander
2. blame the goalie

This works for every game the Leafs lose.

Forgetting that Nylander actually socred a lot this season and had most leafs goals from the dirty areas. And I have to admit, Nylander is skating so effort less that it looks like he is not actually working hard, but he is just a great skater,

An incredible skater. He is almost as fast as Kapanen but has hands and skill. Nylander is terribly underrated on here. Doesn't help that Burke is going off on him all the time. If Burke doesn't like a player, it probably means he's really good. Since Burke is a washed up idiot who wishes he was Don Cherry.

I do think Andersen deserves some heat though. Game 1 was on him more than anyone else. TO outshot and out chanced them in the game but lost to a bad goal. You can't blame him for much else beyond the 2nd goal of the game in game 5, that was brutal. The difference more than anything in that series was Korpisalo won 2 games for Columbus while Andersen didn't steal anything. Played well enough to win but in a series as tight as it was, he needed to steal 1 game and he just didn't

As an Oilers fan, I would rather keep the 14 OA. There is a pretty good chance the player we get there will be as good or better then Nylander and we get the all important ELC

I know what you mean, but the past has shown that Toronto is a hard place for goalies. Not like other cities where no one cares and media is not that horrible. Tortarella was right when he was talking about hockey knowledge in Toronto media.

Also, The Leafs did not score in 2 out of 5 games and he hat a shutout himself. And that Atikinson goal was partly his fault, but also Marner who did not bring the puck down low during a change, then the Ds had no time to change and gave Atikinson too much space, so it is his fault, but not only.

Nylander is such a talent and people think he is an average player, but they are just a joke

I’m not against the panthers deal or Ottawa deal as an oilers fan. Very open to those honestly hate that avs one not intending to be rude by that sorry if coming off as such. Leafs trade I’m on the fence about I’m curious if larsson back issue is fixable that I don’t know if it isn’t and he is who he is now that’s a tough break and I don’t see leafs doing it also there is almost no situation I’d move this years first our draft capital took a hit with AA and prospect pool is decent but not overwhelming enough upfront or in goal on my opinion.

I think larssons fate depends on his back. I don’t know full extent of the issue but it’s been lingering for a few years now I hope holland is able to get him fixed up. I do question our past gm when it comes to stuff like that after learning more of what JP went threw. If larsson back is going to be an ongoing issue I could see the team moving him if it’s fixable certainly staying

21st actually but still not great and he was injured for 2 of the play in games but was brutal in the 1st one no denying that.

He literally has never been anything special. Wasn't when he was traded to Edmonton and has done nothing to show otherwise. He's an average player at best. And usually below average.

Check out his lines on natural statrick. His advance stats suck. Terrible Corsi, horrible expected goals and his shot share is also really bad. He's legit not good and never has been.
