One year left of Krejci to a team that has a lot of extra draft picks is very reasonable. Remember what some other players return at the trade deadline. Use Plekanec as exhibit A... Leafs traded a 2nd rounder for him for 20 games and he was atrocious. If Krejci is offered around the league, many teams would pay this price.

In fact there are about 5 teams who could do it and how many would do it? Knowing it would be maybe 2-3 and knowing Krejci will veto most of them, y'all get very little return. We got very little for Skinner because we didnt have much options and Skinner had more value than Krejci does at this point.

I really don't get the love for Cirelli. His career P/GP puts him around a 45pt center and while he has a very good defensive game, it doesn't make him a $8 million player.

he is a legitimate second line center so is he getting overpaid? maybe a tad tad bit, not by much at all. Bruins wouldn't eat too much of his salary because he's THAT good. I'd say they would eat 1.25 max. A lot of teams wish they can have such a poised center in David Krejci. especially when he only has 1 year left on his deal.

Oh I'm not even paying attention to it because I wouldn't trade him lol. at 34yr old he's still a roughly 60pt center while having a revolving door of wingers the past 3 years and getting limited PP looks because he mostly is strapped with having to carry the #2PP unit.
