edmonton wins. Broberg is not very good and Neal is a pp player only pretty much. Glendening is decent defensively which we need a defensive player, his stats are down because he played on damn detroit.

If you think KH can sign the RFA’s and keep Neal on the books than by all means turn this down. I’m not sure there is room to get the RFA’s done or how many teams will be in the market for taking on Neal’s contract.

There’s different ways to get rid of him. We aren’t giving a good prospect just to dump him! Sorry it’s just not happening.

He's 18. Pretty stupid of you to brand an 18 year old kid who scored nearly as well as Erik Karlsson in the SHL at the same age (and better than Klefbom).

Holland can buyout Neal for a charge of just $1.9m. That's not worth Broberg.

Don't forget Holland traded for Neal and drafted Broberg. He'll be in no hurry to trade either.

This trade is pretty bad. From a value standpoint it makes sense, but why wouldn’t the oilers just buy him out? It wouldn’t even count for 2 mil against the cap for 4 years. I wouldn’t give up a blue chip prospect for 2 mil in cap space when the oilers aren’t even hard pressed against the cap.

Definitely not overrated! Erik Karlsson played 3rd pairing at 18, so did Klefbom and basically every single decent Swedish defenseman. Why do you expect more from Broberg?! It's stupid.

Broberg is 3 inches taller and 10 lbs heavier and a better skater than Karlsson, and he's just 18. Imagine how good he'll be when he's got man strength.
