I love how someone starts a thread called realistic trade offer with something completely realistic. So let's give the Rangers fans a comparable package for Zibanajad and the Eichel will be happy because they will have a legit 2C and be ready to win. So the Sabres get Zibanejad and the Rangers 2nd in exchange for

Why isn't he? He's easily a top 10 player in the league

2 worthwhile pieces, a gamble and junk (Strome is a 3C at best and will soon be an overpaid 3C). I love the idiocy that Buffalo is sending back a 2nd and that a 4th is even involved. would you take a package like that for Panarin? Eichel >>> Panarin and it's not close.

But as you just said, only 2 more years of Zibanejad. Because of that, more would need to Head to Buffalo. Maybe not multiple pieces but definitely more.

Sabres decline quickly, they definitely don't need another RD, especially an offensive minded one, Georgiev and Strome combined maybe worth a mid 1st, then two middle six prospects
Think the trade would be more like Fox, Chytil, Buch, Georgiev and a 1st, maybe more

Anything "realistic" with Eichel and NYR starts with Kakko.

I think you forgot to add in chytyl, kravtsov, zibanajed and kakko
I love it how someone names a thread a realistic offer for someone and then is completely realistic. If that is what it takes to get an elite player like Eichel then the Sabres easily pass and they acquire an elite center that will make them good and able to win now, thus making Jack happy. So here is a comparable offer for Zibanejad. Buffalo gets Zibanejad and the Rangers 2nd in exchange for the Sabres 4th, Linus Ulmark, Montour, Middlestadt and Victor Oloffson. Deal right?? Before anyone replies with how Eichel is unhappy so the Sabres have to trade him, any great competitive player would be unhappy losing, but he has lots of term left and has never said he doesn't want to be in Buffalo. So unless someone wants to severely overpay or Eichel asks out of Buffalo the Sabres are not going to consider moving him
