Is the broken leg not a factor here? I know it’s a different generation on healthcare and rehab, but it has to be a factor until he proves its not. Especially getting a little older and the game getting faster, I would be a little Leary to spend too much on acquiring him.

I would give up Connor and a little bit more, but not going crazy after that because then we just get worse from it.

Dougie is not the guy to give up lots for, he's talented as can be. He has all the traits, but he doesn't have the "it" factor you need to thrive in a hockey market

Disagree. That injury did hamper his value. If Karlsson was healthy, I'd be asking for better quality and less quantity. Ottawa got more quantity and less quality because of the injury.

Yeah I mean this was his best season of his career and was playing at a Norris worthy level, I would consider it but Connor is still 23 years old. So I'm torn because we desperately need a fix long term on the right side, as Pionk is definitely not a number 1. I guess, we can hope for a miracle and hope to land Pietrangelo with our crazy amount of cap space lol.

I'm probably not the guy to ask cause I'm not a Hamilton fan and think he's quite overrated, also these suggestions of Connor+ or Ehlers+ are ****ing laughable imo, there's no way one year of Hamilton are worth either of those two and even with an extension I wouldn't make that deal, I'll take the play driving 60 point winger and 40 goal winger both on great contracts over the offensive dman that keeps getting passed around the league.
