    Dallas should be heading towards a rebuild around Heiskanen. You don't trade every single prospect like that.

    They don’t need a rebuild they have good weapons they just need a 1 line winger and Gaudreau can be an elite one. Maybe remove Dickinson but the value is pretty much there

    Here’s a tip for all those ACGM’s out there. If you’re ever making a trade that’s a 6 for 1, stop. It’s a bad trade.

    Sure that value isn't THAT far off but Dallas would never make that move. They basically destroy their teams future with this trade.

    That group of Gaudreau, Monahan, Giordano have been together too long to have accomplished as little as they have. They need to shake things up, and Gaudreau is the obvious choice.

    They have young pieces in the lineup like Heiskanen, Hintz and Gurianov and I didn’t include guys like Harley or Caamano or even Ottinger... they’ll be just fine. If they want to make a run at it, this is the kind of move to make

    I didn’t include guys like Oettinger, Harley, Gurianov or Hints, they’ll be fine.

    I’d agree with you if Gaudreau was 31-32 tho

    Well yeah you need something of really good value besides a 1st for a player like gaudreau, and dellandrea is better than you think, not to mention gurianov has no spot in a top 6 with benn and gaudreau

    Any team that pays up for Gaudreau is making a mistake, he’s a good regular season player when the games don’t matter

    He’s not worth the investment if a team is legit trying to win

    Eric Lindros had term. Gaudreau is 2 years from UFA.

    $7.25m would be tough for Tampa to match, but I doubt Cirelli signs that to move from Florida to the harsh Calgary winter.

    Can I ask why it seems people in Calgary want Johnny Gaudreau out so badly? I hear/read rumors about it every now and then.

    Seems like a piece you'd want around.
