No way does Lehtonen play the right side. One of the sports sites did an interview with his coach from last season who specifically mentioned that he had a hard time playing on the right side. If you keep the pairing of Muzzin-Holl, which you should, and pair Lehtonen with Sandin, who I think could play the right side, that means Dermott is odd the man out since he can also not play his off-hand. Package him a deal with a forward and perhaps Bracco for a top-4 RD.

Dermott has played the right side in the AHL and Jr at times. I think he gets a shot there

Lehtonen is just what the Leafs need: a pure offensive left-shot defenseman. Why didn't Dubas think of this before?!

Offensively and defensively Lehtonen has good stats. But KHL stats are kinda meaningless. We have seen for decades high scoring Dmen and forwards in non NHL league never make an impact in the NHL.
Now for Lehtonen's sake, I wish him well as he is UFA in summer of 2021. Let's see how he does in the best league.
