Nice list. I like the ranking. The only thing is I feel like some of those 89 guys could use some separation in their rating.

Of course I'm biased but I'd argue Zibanejad is slightly better than Couturier and Scheifele

every time I see a list like this I'm reminded of how pathetic NJ is. two centres drafted 1st overall in the past 3 years and neither are close to making this list.

Biased opinion but Couture has more playoff points than every center on here except Crosby, Bergeron and Malkin. Considering the game is significantly harder in the playoffs I’d say that gets Couture in at least the top 20.

perhaps. it's definitely close but i give the edge to the others because while Zibanejad has always been pretty solid, he just kinda blew up to superstar this season (maybeeee because of panarin??) while couturier and scheifele have been elite for a few seasons now

Hey may not have the “star” value some others have but hes is also a complete two-way player, top power play unit, top PK unit and a Captain. He’s pretty good.

With all due respect that argument doesn't add up since Zibanejad only rarely played with Panarin. Of course those two play together at 3VS3 and on the PP but at 5vs5 they don't play together 90% of the time. Offensively Zibanejad has been elite for 2 calendar years now. The guy scored 30 and had 74 points lst year with the Rangers of 18-19...

He is tho.

He's terrible defensively, I haven't missed too many of his games since he entered the NHL, he's good but I'd say he's just outside of the top 20 list.

Oh man, was painful to watch this season sometimes.

Took a step back this season but for the most part has been well above average defensively. Easily still In the top 20 but wasn’t good enough to be in the top 10 this year

They are all very close but I for example I feel Couturier and Pettersson are slightly better than O'Reilly.

Also I'm no Detroit fan but I feel like Larkin should be at least an 86 or 87. Sure his point totals aren't as good as some of the other guys but look at the guys he's playing with compared to the guys the other guys on the list get to play with. He has Bertuzzi on the left wing who would be a second line winger on most teams and they don't have any star offensive D men to play on the power play.

Why is Tavares on that list? I like him but he isn't above those 89 ranked guys....

I'd put everyone on the top 20 of this list and Backstrom ahead of Scheiffele.
