Hes been alright on an absolutely horrible devils team in a tough defensive role. He would do quite well in the leafs bottom 6 with kapanen and someone else. Hes also a fantastic penalty killer.

he really hasnt been though, he just gets hammered, All his xGA, CF% and CF rel team% are all, He basically bleeds shots and chances against at a bottom of the league level and on the PK he's below average at best.

At 5v5 his numbers arent great but they will improve if he were to join the leafs. The devils defensemens ability to move the puck definitely resulted in more shots against, that would definitely improve. I dont have his results for penalty killing but a former devils employee had tweeted out some numbers. He I'd extremely good at preventing cross seam passes and taking away space. Hes an offensive threat on the pk as well.

He wouldnt be perfect but imo hes skilled enough that he would be able to improve significantly in the leafs organization with all they invest in sports science.
