Not enough for Hall imo. Use the Stone trade from last year as an example and slightly turn it up a notch, because arguably Hall has more value. Vegas gave up their best defensive prospect in Branstrom, and I would say he was the organizations 2nd best prospect behind Glass. COL would have to give at the very least something equivalent to that. Timmins, although a solid prospect, isn't the right guy.

Except Stone basically came with 8-yr extension. Unless Hall is willing to sign an extension right away with his new team, I can't see how he's worth more.

I never said it was a sign and trade. I said he basically came with an extension. OTT allowed VGK to speak with Stone on a extension and the deal didn't happen until they agreed to the frame work of it. So again he basically came with an extension.

He signed a 7 year contract about 30 minutes after the NHL approved the trade. Technically Stone didn't come with an extension, but practically he did.

I wonder if the recent injuries to Rantanen and Land play into this at all. I guess it's still too early to write the Devils off, but if Byrum was in play I would act fast.
